Advanced Nosework with Stacey Shaw
June 17. Canine Nosework is the sport and fun version of scent detection. In the Advanced Nosework workshop on Sunday June 17, your dog will be introduced to more difficult searches with the emphasis on weaning the dog off of food and on to finding the target scent alone. In addition, you will be shown a number of techniques that will teach your dog to give a formal alert.

Sunday, May 27. Karin Apfel is offering another Beginner Nosework seminar. How much fun is that?! Nosework is the sport and fun version of scent detection. Working scent detection dogs are used to find narcotics, bed bugs or explosives. Nosework, however, uses legal scents that are easily purchased and stored by the average person.
No previous experience or training is necessary for this seminar. -
